This is Roy, a registered German Shorthair, who is current on vaccinations and is neutered.  He is sort of trained for bird hunting, but some more training would be good.  We are getting older and don’t have time to spend with him.  He is 4 years old.  Contact Joyce Thornburgh at 580-626-4745.

Roy was hit by a car when he was a yr old.  It broke his leg.  The vet tried to set it, but eventually it did need surgery.  The vet removed the ball of his hip joint.  He runs without pain and does not have pain, but he slightly carries his back leg when walking around the yard.  We live on a farm so he is not used to a pen.

His leg does not slow him down when hunting, but neither I nor the vet knew how it would affect him as he aged.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered and current on vaccinations.  Our adoption fee is $75 for one animal or $100 for two animals adopted at the same time.  If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to complete the adoption application on our website www.creatureconcerns.org.  Completing the application does not obligate you to adopt.  It is simply a vital part of the process.
